Diablo II : Lord of Destruction (I'm Going Old School)

I have to give props to Blizzard Entertainment for creating Diablo II, the expansion set : Lord of Destruction. I began playing Diablo LOD about 5 years ago and have not picked it back up in years. However the other day I was in Future Shop and once again saw the box set on the shelf, I could not resist and picked it up. I was so happy once I had the software again installed on my PC. I forgot what a great game it was. I spent hours last night progressing through the first act of the game and plan on spending more time this weekend mastering the game again. I have to admit that when I first began playing Diablo LOD, I was hopelessly hooked on all the available hacker codes available on the net. I once again found some awesome tricks of the trade on the net last night and have created myself an awesome character. I have yet to play on Battle.net as I don't think I am ready for the hard core players that seem to rule the room. In time I will once again be able to battle with the best of them on Battle.net but until then I plan on kicking some ass on my own. Once my character has again become unbeatable, I will login to Battle.net and share my knowledge with the best of them. It is a rainy weekend this weekend and perfect for spending some well earned hours of playing the game that I have missed for years. Thank goodness Blizzard Entertainment still has it on the shelves for purchase. What can I say, $50 well spent !
